Welcome

On behalf of the Organizing Committee and the International Programme Committee of CVT•Hybrid International Conference 2010 (CVT2010) we are very pleased to invite you to CVT2010 on November 17 – 19, 2010 at the conference venue of MECC Maastricht. This edition will be the 6th in the series of CVT conferences organised once every three years.

With the fast emerging and developing technologies for hybrid and electrical vehicles, and the increased efforts to improve fuel economy, it is increasingly important to share ideas and thoughts and to exchange future directions of research. The CVT conferences are focused and because of that provide a perfect platform for an open scientific and technological discussion.

This version of the CVT conference in particular will focus on the use of CVTs as part of a hybrid powertrain, the mechanical, electrical or hydraulic CVT technology itself (slip-control, new concepts, mechanical modelling and dynamics), as well as manufacturing challenges for cost-effective production of CVTs and components.

The CVT2010 programme will be well-balanced composition of contributions from academia and industry. I hope you will be part of CVT2010 and are excited to contribute to our common goals!
